Advantech worked with a medical equipment supplier to develop a system for intraoral scanning and 3D printing based on the MIC-770 V3 and MXM-R3000 GPU. The MXM card was a key element to powering a system capable of real time image and data processing in a reliable compact, fan-less, silent platform suitable for a medical office environment.
