The Texas Instruments LM2595 series of regulators are monolithic integrated circuits that provide all the active functions for a step-down (buck) regulator, capable of driving a 1.0A load with excellent load and line regulation. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, and 12V with an adjustable output version available.
