AVX is the first connector supplier to offer a discrete wire IDC connector in a surface mount termination. Unlike the mass-terminated IDC connectors from years past, these series’ use very robust, newly-designed contacts to allow for a perfect wire termination every time. The connector body is made from a high-temperature polymer that allows for surface mount termination to the board.
