Shown on this slide are some of the benefits of the new Bourns® Model AMS22S non-contacting analog rotary position sensor. Due to the form factor and voltage output, this unit can be used as a direct replacement for older contacting technologies that used the servo lid configuration. As previously mentioned, this position sensor has a very stable performance over an extended rotational life. It also has minimal sensitivity to any harsh environments and performs well even with a side load condition.
