This shows the position of the RLIM resistor used to program the current and the practical current range is from 125mA for the high values to 2.6A for the low value. Caution will be needed if exceeding 2A due to thermal considerations. Overcurrent for the non-A devices place the power switch into a current liming mode. The A types are latched off with an overcurrent event.
