The demonstration discussed in this tutorial shows how Bridgetek components can extend the reach of a small embedded computer by expanding the I/O capabilities of the embedded processor. The USB to I2C bridge allows for data gathering from external sensors for proximity and color. The USB to SPI bridge allows for adding a small local display to the embedded processor to display the sensor readings.
