By using bayonet fixing instead of a threaded jackscrew design, mating time is significantly reduced. The 101Lok style available with the power and co-ax housings allows the connectors to be fully mated, then each fixing is engaged with a simple push-and-turn action. The bayonet fixing is fitted to the female connector, with the receptacle fitted to the male.
