This slide shows the basic structure of KEMET’s sensors. Break type sensors use one Thermorite® at the center and two permanent magnets; one on either side. In the case of make type sensors, they use two Thermorite between the spacers and permanent magnets. By choosing a combination of these materials, KEMET can set various operating temperatures with very high accuracy.
