The HO is an ASIC based transducer. This ASIC contains all the electronics in the transducer, including the Hall cell. The HO is a galvanically isolated device capable of measuring AC or DC current. It has an over current detection (OCD) pin that makes it unique. The HO is available in two mounting styles, through-hole or surface mount.
