This example shows an OpAmp being used for basic signal conditioning. The DAC is referenced to the internal FVR, an adjustable offset voltage is then fed into the OpAmp, a simple resistor network is used to set up the gain of the signal. The result is granularity exceeding 12-bit, with a 10-bit ADC, for the critical portion of the signal being measured.
