The Spyder08 comes with an S08QG4 microcontroller mounted on a 8-pin socket. The built-in Background Debug Module (BDM) connector allows the Spyder08 to debug external KA, QD, and QG devices in any package. The Spyder08 takes advantage of the CodeWarrior Development Studio Special Edition and the NXP BDM interface to download and debug user applications in the target microcontroller’s Flash memory.
