To improve traceability for the PMDU package, the Wide Frame parts will run a scan laser directly onto the package. Parts will have 30 dots instead of 12 for conventional (Hoop Frame). This will provide additional Date and Lot code information for each diode. The scan method also provides more consistency and precision when marking the parts.
