The size available in a chassis to fit a fan or blower will determine how powerful of an air mover that can be used. The larger the fan, the more cooling it can usually provide, at a comparable RPM to a smaller fan. Larger fans generally spin at a lower speed to achieve the same performance, and are therefore quieter.
