The fusing response of the SP3A is less than 30 seconds at 80W of applied power. The convergence of the maximum and minimum fusing time curves as applied power increases ensuring that it will fuse extremely fast when subjected to 120 VAC short circuit. This is commonly being specified for a variety of consumer devices.
