A block diagram of the ASIC interface for a dual axis gyroscope is shown in this page. The driving circuitry, on the bottom half of the diagram, generates the signals needed to drive the capacitive plates that cause the oscillating movement of the driving mass. In the top part are the sensing chains for each of the two axes.
