The CFast™ card combines the CompactFlash™ card form factor with a Serial ATA interface. With this merging of two industry standards, the CFast™ card specification was created to replace existing hard drives and CompactFlash™ in applications requiring small form factors, long life endurance and the ability to withstand shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, and other aggressive environments.
