Waveforms can be tested against a mask to ensure compliance with requirements. Masks can be created from a reference waveform for limit testing, or recalled from a file. On a pass/fail condition the oscilloscope can be configured to: stop the acquisition, beep, save the waveform, take a screen capture, or output a pulse to another instrument.
