Undiscovered damaged pipelines can cause huge operational costs and environmental disasters. To prevent such faults it is necessary to monitor the quality of production of pipelines. In this example, Kiel University of Applied Sciences from Germany used several synchronized STEMlab 125-14 to provide a magnetic heatmap of the pipes that provides real-time information about pipe production quality.
