Also, do not be misled by a power supply that lists dual voltages and amps. Do not combine the two VA ratings, use only one. One amperage rating is for when the power supply is used in low voltage, the other rating is for when the power supply is used in high voltage. As voltage increases, amperage decreases in proportion, so the VA ratings should be similar (with only minor differences due to rounding).
