There are three main types of UPS Systems, categorized by how they work: standby, line-interactive and on-line. Standby UPS systems provide basic protection from power problems. Line-Interactive UPS provide a higher level of protection from power problems. On-line UPS systems provide the highest level of protection from power problems.
