In summary, lower forward voltage drop and enhanced switching speeds make the Vishay/General Semiconductor TMBS rectifiers a viable alternative to ultra-fast diodes and conventional planar Schottky rectifiers in the 100 V to 200 V range. The TMBS rectifiers can also be used as simpler and more reliable alternatives to synchronous rectification with similar efficiency and thermal performance.
