Ultraviolet light is electromagnetic radiation at the high energy (i.e. short wavelength) side of the visible light spectrum. It is classified as UV-A, UV-B and UV-C radiation with UV-C having the highest energy (i.e. shortest wavelength). UV-A is primarily used for curing and horticulture, UV-B for horticulture and phototherapy, and UV-C for disinfection.
