Many of Würth Elektronik's receiver coils have a base made of pre-fractured (or flexible) ferrite material. This material allows a strong advantage by being immune against vibration, shock or breaking. The ferrite material is glued between two adhesive foils. In case of breakage, the ferrite parts will be held in place by the foils, which means no electrical influence on the performance of the coil.
