The design is an all GaN conventional hard-switched fully regulated full bridge converter with a center tapped secondary. At the time of this design, the best, commercially available, fully regulated eighth brick had an output power of 300W and a full load efficiency of around 94.7%. With the eGaN FET design, the engineer is achieving 96.5% full load efficiency at 500W.
