For zero delay buffers requiring low phase noise and jitter, Renesas offers the ICS670-XX family of parts. As clock signals pass through multiple ICs in a system, they can be subjected to jitter accumulation and a low phase noise zero delay buffer can address this. These devices are good for networking applications like gigabit Ethernet. The output clock can be multiplied for a maximum frequency of 160MHz.
