MAX12900 offers a combination of features that enable and enhance the next generation of 4mA - 20mA loop-powered transmitters. A 250µA current consumption increases the current availability for the main controller and other blocks in the sensor enabling other features. With its small package, this IC has a small form factor transmitter when compared to competitive solutions.
