The VULCON™ product family is available in three different sizes: M5 (5 mm), M8 (8 mm), and M12 (12 mm). All three sizes are fully shielded and meet IP67/68 sealing requirements. Due to VULCON's smaller size, the M5 is designed for signal and low power applications. The M8 and M12 are capable of 1.5 A through 4 A per contact and can be used as ruggedized substitutes for USB 2.0/3.0 and industrial Ethernet applications. All three series are rated at -40°C to +85°C operating temperature.
