A one ball – one sleeve bearing is a bearing with one ball bearing and one sleeve bearing providing the support for the fan.  Having both a ball bearing and a sleeve bearing creates a fan with both types of positives; smooth operation and inexpensive to produce. The negatives for this type bearing include shorter life in high temperature applications and weak shock protection.
