The ARJ45 uses data transmission pair isolation techniques to achieve high frequency performance. This isolation is achieved by extending the shielding isolation already present in the cabling through the plug and jack. As can be seen in the photo above, a typical Category 7a patch cable construction consists of an overall braid shield surrounding 4 individually shielded twisted pairs.
