In summary, there are a number of TIMs available for a wide variety of applications. The selection of a TIM for a specific application is dependant on a number of key design criteria, as discussed in this module. All aspects of product design, including the packaging of the TIM, must be considered in order to ensure a technically suitable and economically viable solution is chosen.
