Photorelays are designed to replace mechanical relays. In general, photorelays consist of MOSFET transistors, photo-detectors, and LEDs. Their small size and high performance make them ideal solutions for many applications including telecommunication, factory automation, consumer devices, instrumentation, and Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
