The BayCat supports the Intel AES instructions to enable fast hardware encryption and decryption of data processed through the board. Additionally, a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is included to provide enhanced system integrity and to defend against attacks from unauthorized software access. The 5 V typical input voltage is compatible with most embedded power supplies that are used on legacy PC/104 platforms.
