Passive splitters are devices that will take the Power from a PoE source and separate it again with data continuing over an Ethernet cable and power via a DC cord. These are ideal for situations where a user is upgrading their network and want compatibility with existing devices or in situations where a device needs to be relocated to an area without a local AC source. Additionally, this may be used in combination with a power injector for a more cost efficient solution.
