The first method of managing a midspan is with Phihong’s local access GUI for windows. This software can be used via a USB-serial cable or via Ethernet SNMP versions 1, 2 and 3. The GUI has full access to port management allowing users to label ports, reset ports individually or cycle power for the whole midspan and upgrade firmware (USB only).
