For long-term battery use in low current or low duty cycle applications, low quiescent current can significantly extend battery life. There is normally a trade-off in power supply rejection ratio and transient response time verses low quiescent current. It may be that the lowest Iq part is not a good solution if a higher PSRR is needed.
