The EM2280 can provide the full 80 A of continuous output current with no derating up to 75˚C ambient temperature range with no airflow. The junction to ambient thermal resistance of the package is only 7.25˚C/W. The EM2260 can provide the full 60 A with no airflow under similar conditions.
