Welcome to the Henkel Introduction to Solder Paste training module. This presentation will introduce you to soldering, including what role solder paste plays in the process as well as how and where it would be used. Additionally, it will cover how to determine which solder paste is most appropriate for a given application. In this module, we will discuss the various components that come together to create a reliable solder joint using solder paste. This will include the printing process typically used to apply a solder paste to a PCB and the reflow process used to form the solder joints. With this, emphasis will be placed on the product properties for each stage of the assembly process.
