Abandon time is tested, this is the amount of time allowed should the production line experience any down time and the paste remains idle on the printer. GC 10 also has long stencil work life and improved stability properties which are resistant to long exposure at elevated humidity. Paste stability is significantly higher than traditional pastes, which has a great impact on shipping logistics and paste management. Since the activation reaction is controlled, the paste can accommodate greater fluxing capacity which is ideal for challenging reflow applications experienced with small print deposits.
